Testimonials

What our members are saying

"Before my son entered Ms. McJunkins’ class, he struggled with reading and often felt discouraged. I was worried he would fall further behind, but from the very beginning, she took the time to understand his specific challenges. She worked closely with both of us, creating a personalized plan that built his confidence and skills step by step. By the end of the year, he was not only reading at grade level but actually enjoying it! I am beyond grateful for her dedication and expertise—she made a lasting impact on my child’s education."

"My daughter entered second grade feeling frustrated with reading, and as a parent, I felt helpless. But that changed when she had Ms. McJunkins as her teacher. She identified the exact areas my daughter needed help with and put a structured plan in place. Through targeted strategies, encouragement, and consistent support, she transformed reading from a struggle into something my daughter looked forward to. Now, she picks up books on her own and enjoys reading! I truly believe Ms. McJunkins helped shape her into the confident reader she is today."

"Working with Ms. McJunkins was one of the best experiences we’ve had as parents. She didn’t just teach my child—she partnered with us to ensure he received the support he needed. She regularly communicated with us, providing strategies we could use at home, and tailored her instruction to meet his specific needs. The progress he made in just one school year was incredible. He went from struggling with simple words to reading full stories fluently. I cannot thank Ms. McJunkins enough for her patience, dedication, and ability to bring out the best in her scholars!"
